Oliver Walter REED - Missing, Presumed killed November 1940.
Walter, as he was known in the family, was born in Ryde on the Isle of Wight around 1923. His siblings Ken, Alan, Brian and sister Daisy all served in the RN and survived the war, An accomplished long distance runner, he was married to Dollie and at the time of his death had a son, Barry, who now lives in Nova Scotia, Canada.
